John H. Goth

John H. Goth assists clients in developing and implementing solutions for all aspects of their business. John enjoys working with business clients at all stages of the “business life cycle,” such as incorporating or organizing the business, drafting corporate organizational documents and contracts, advice regarding day-to-day issues involving employment and management, assisting with ownership restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions, and ultimately helping formulate a succession plan to figure out what the business’s legacy will be for the next generation.

 

John also helps families and individuals put together a comprehensive Estate Plan to ensure their assets and property are given the attention they deserve and passed on in accordance with the owner’s wishes. John has experience assisting clients with little-to-no assets and those with extensive property interests in drafting everything from simple wills to complex asset protection trusts, and everything in between.

Additionally, John counsels political subdivisions, local units, elected officials, and public library boards in all matters involving local government law. From developing ordinances and advising as to public bidding laws, public purchasing, and public access laws, to representing units in employment disputes, local code enforcement, and negotiations with other governmental entities, John provides comprehensive guidance involving the day-to-day operations of local government.
